internal blog notes, memo for the faithful, and niner red and gold

my audience has spoken, and spoken by not uttering a single word.  That is right ... no followers after todays marketing and outreach escapades ... i am saddened, dispondent ... but fear not my faithful ... i will not back down now, now when i am up against all odds ... WE are up against all odds!  Thart is right, this is a fight for all of us.

If I did not make this clear, be clear now, and let it be known for certain that this is a place for us all ... a friendly confines ... where everyone knows our names!  This is our turf!

Ok then, good stuff.  Now we are addiquitly mobilized and inspired onward we will proceed.  To todays action ...

Alrightie then, so yesterday was pretty good ... the plains flew overhead for fleet week and no one met any untimely goodbyes ... took the bus to the marina green to watch the show and bbq ... ate our contribution to the outing on the bus ride there, a bag of bbq lays potatoe - classic ... leftover chicken breast on a whole weat hot dog bun, guy next to me high off a special chocolate brownie bar ... gordon biersch oktoberfest beers ... good times ...

Nebraska beat ohio state in a big 12 showdown preview for things to come ... detroit could not survive the rain delay and pull it out in game one to texas ...

Today, da raiders pull it out and hold on against houstan ... niners destroy, obliteratte tampa ... things are lookin ok ...

Now, Green Bay pulling it out over atlanta ... coffee beans sit on the table, liter of iced tea home brewed at my side (simply brew up tea and poor over ice) ...

Sunday evening ... sometimes tough times of the day, you know, right after that second football game ... you look outside and the day has just almost passed you bye, a sorta of hangover like feeling partially from the actually hangover as a result of Saturdays activities, and the lethargy of lying around all day watching nfl football ... the lady, without fail, bitter and upset over my choice to spend the day inside watching football instead of doing something 'productive' or 'together' ... of course she does not understand that i really do not have a 'choice' in the matter - this is an obligation ... ever since i was a small child, sunday watching football was religion ... and when mom tried to send me to hebrew school on sundays i would inevitably sneak out to find a television, usually stored away in a closet at the school, and work the bunny ear antennas to get something somewhat appearing to be reception, with others who pledged allegeance to the nfl over judaism, u.s. of a., or most anything else ... and now, like my father has done for decades, i spend sundays often at home, reading the ny times, snacking on pistachios, bleeding niner gold and red, sometimes raider silver and black ...

...let me reminisce ... join me, in a reflection, lets go back and forth while i continue to butcher the english language and assault all things considered kosher gramatically even in the blogoshpere ... no rules apply ... for the moment ... now, as we travel through time ...

...October 2003, back to Prague, semester abroad ... overnight train to Munich for the last weekend of Oktoberfest, wake up at 7 and have the first beer of the day, maybe the best beer of the day, at the train station, a blonde hef ...
